Road is a building trait that enlarges the build-able area for the village. For example, 3 Road would increase the build-able area by up to 3 tiles away from the building. Hovering your cursor over the building will display an indicator of the expanded build-able tiles. Diagonal tiles are considered to be 2 tiles away.
