Idle Bourgeois is an unoccupied Bourgeoise who will not work in any building until trained in any appropriate Job indicated by a blue background. They require a higher standard of housing and food than Commoners - they will only eat Elaborate Foods and stay in Bourgeoise housing.

Any Handyman can be trained into this higher Class of Pip. This can be done by right-clicking on Bourgeoise housing and will cost 1 Fabric and take 1 day. Alternatively, two Bourgeoise Pips can procreate, costing 1 Fabric and 1 Elaborate Food, plus the new child's growing time of 4 days.
